Common FAQs

Are dogs allowed at the Fair?

We get asked a lot about whether dogs are permitted to the Fair, and due to the fact there is a lot of foot traffic, especially children, we ask that people please leave their dogs* at home. Anyone with a dog* will be denied entry to the Fair. We apologise at this strict stance, but we have to priortise the health and safety of our Fair attendees.
*Except for medical assistance dogs

Do you have eftpos and cash out facilities?

Yes we have both! Eftpos is available at the entrance for the entry fee donation, and at our white elephant and food tents. We have a cash out facility in our tent next to the food stall, but any cash out requires a $2 surcharge to cover eftpos facility fees.

How much is entry?

Entry fee is a $5 donation for adults, kids are free.

Will it still go ahead if it's raining?

Yes our fair will still go ahead, but we're hoping the rain stays away!

Do you have disable parking?

Yes we do have a dedicated area for disabled parking.

Can we still park on Tram Road?

This year due to regulations in place, parking on Tram Road is going to be blocked off. We will have plenty of dedicated car parks available on the day for attendees so please follow the directions from the Men at Work team.

Baby change, lost kids and first aid?

The baby change and feeding area is manned by Swannanoa Preschool and is located between the Cricket Pavilion and the Cricket Nets. This will also be our lost children area. First Aid is supplied by St John and is located back toward the entrance at the south end of the domain.
